Week 5 is in the books and we have 4 new teams in the rankings. In the biggest game of the week new #5 Miami Central easily took care of crosstown rival Booker T. Washington. The Rockets ground game might be the most impressive in the country led by FSU commit James Cook. We said in our weekly predictions that the Booker T. run defense was shaky and that proved to be the difference. In the other big game of the weekend new #10 Desoto went on a spurt and the end of the 1st half and took care of Cedar Hill. A depleted Armwood team and Judson also fall from the rankings this week after losses. The top Texas teams keep beating each other which has dragged them all down in the polls. This week The Woodlands and Steele crack the rankings. The #1 teams in Pennsylvania, St. Jpseph’s Prep, and Newe Jersey, Bergen Catholic also jump in the rankings this week. It could be a short lived stint for Bergen as they travel to a dangerous St. Joseph Regional team this week.
