Another week of the season is in the books and we had a couple more upsets shake up the rankings this week. We had two ranked teams survive over traditional state powers in incredible fashion to keep their seasons alive. #3 Allen (TX) needed a missed PAT by Desoto (TX) to help them secure a 41-40 victory. #20 Male (KY) defeated Trinity (KY) by one also to keep their state title hopes alive. Each team drops a spot in the rankings because of the narrow wins and impressive play by the teams right below them. Colerain (OH) and Hermitage (VA) make their debuts this week off of impressive wins. With the playoffs continuing there are sure to be more upsets this week.
