In past years the conclusion of the Texas and California state playoffs meant the end of the high school football season which would’ve meant these were the final rankings. That would mean that Booker T. Washington would be celebrating their back to back Prep Force National Championships. Thanks to Burger King and ESPN that is not the case this year. We get one more weekend of football that could shake up the rankings. The F Tornadoes will face off with #11 Bingham (UT) with the chance to wrap up the title. If they struggle or lose current #2 De La Salle, fresh off their California Open Division title, will be there to take home the crown. The margin between the F5 Tornadoes and the Spartans is very close and this final game should be a good one. Bingham’s only blemish on the year is a 3 point loss on the road to #3 Bishop Gorman. #4 Allen won the Texas 6A-I crown in impressive fashion and QB Kyle Allen is the Prep Force Player Of The Year, but the Eagles defense was a little to suspect to put them in the national title discussion. Cedar Hill moves all the way up to #13 thanks to their 23-20 victory over #25 Katy to win the Texas 6A-II crown.Check back next week to see the final rankings.
