What a weekend of high school football. We have a new Top 5 team plus 5 new teams in the rankings this week. Bishop Gorman jumps into the Top 5 after winning the game of the week over St. John Bosco 34-31. The Gaels remind of us 2012 Notre Dame in the way they keep pulling out narrow victories over good teams. The loss drops Bosco right out of the Top 10. De La Salle moves up to #3 thanks to an impressive win over previously ranked Servite. The Spartan now appear to once again be the best team in California. Mainland (FL) makes the highest debut this week after an impressive 42-30 win over a very good American Heritage team. The Buccaneers have now outscored their opponents 241-39 on the season. Hamilton (AZ) comes in right behind them on the heels of their impressive 30-10 defeat of previously #21 ranked Mountain Pointe. The huskies appear to be the cream of the crop in Arizona this year. Archbishop Wood (PA), Paramus Catholic (NJ) and John Curtis (LA) are the new entries that round out the Top 25 this week
