It was a slow week on the gridiron as we move through district play. The only movement was North Gwinnett falling a few spots after a big comeback victory. Desoto got the win of the week in their 55-20 win handing Mansfield Timberview their first loss of the season.

2) Allen (6-0) – Allen, TX – Defeated Plano East 62-17
3) Central (5-1) – Miami, FL – Defeated Norland 56-6
4) Desoto (6-0) – Desoto, TX – Actually trailed early before beating a very good Mansfield Timberview team 55-20. The top 4 teams in the rankings are a clear cut above the rest.
5) Paramus Catholic (5-0) – Paramus, NJ – Beat one of Delaware’s best teams, St. Mark’s, 56-6. The travel to a disappointing Don Bosco Prep this week.
6) St. Joseph’s Regional (4-0) – Montvale, NJ – Idle
7) St. John Bosco (6-0) – Bellflower, CA – Defeated Santa Margarita 56-12
8 ) Mountain Pointe (8-0) – Phoenix, AZ – Defeated Brophy Prep 31-0
9) University School (7-0) – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Idle
10) North Gwinnett (6-0) – Suwanee, GA – Drop a few spots after needing a miracle comeback to beat Mill Creek 50-47. They needed a fumble, an onside kick and a successful hook and ladder touchdown to complete the improbable comeback victory.
11) Hoover (6-0) – Hoover, AL – Defeated Hillcrest 28-6
12) St. Edward (6-0) – Lakewood, OH – Idle
13) Katy (6-0) – Katy, TX – Defeated Taylor 44-0
14) Northwestern (7-0) – Rock Hill, SC – Defeated Clover 49-6.
15) De La Salle (6-0) – Concord, CA – Idle
16) Cass Tech (8-0) – Detroit, MI – Defeated Ford 69-0. Defeated Mumford 41-6. They have given up 6 points or less in 7 of their 8 games this year.
17) Byrnes (6-1) – Duncan, SC – Dominated Riverside 57-0
18) Colerain (7-0) – Cincinnati, OH – Defeated Sycamore 40-22.
19) Junipero Serra (6-0) – Gardena, CA – Defeated Harvard-Westlake 63-7

21) Miramar (7-0) – Miramar, FL – Defeated McArthur 56-0. Have not allowed a point in the 3 games since beating St. Thomas Aquinas.
