With the high school football season winding down the cream of the crop is rising to the top. We had the game of the season this week with Allen coming from behind to win a thrilling game over Desoto. While the game earlier this year between #1 Booker T. Washington and #2 Miami Central had more talent on the field this game provided more dramatics. Speaking of Miami Central they actually jump Allen for the #2 this week after dominating in the Florida 6A title game. This week will show us who the best team in California is when #4 St. John Bosco and #9 De La Salle face off. There were 4 previsouly ranked teams that failed to bring home state titles this week and drop from the rankings. That makes space for 4 state champs to make their way into the rankings. They are East Jefferson (LA), Norcross (GA), Centreville (VA) and American Heritage (FL).
