Grayson (GA) at Hoover (AL)
This is a rare late season interstate game (that doesnt involve IMG) between two powerhouses. #7 Grayson will head over to Alabama to paly the best team in the state Hoover. Both teams have one loss on the year and both were to teams ranked in the Prep Force Top 25. Grayson was to #2 IMG and Hoover to #11 Allen. Grayson will be the more talented team in the game but never underestimate home field advantage in high school football. Especially out of state games where the officiating can be questionable.

The Grayson defense is loaded but if you are going to gain yards on them it has to be on the ground as IMG showed. Teams that have tried to pass on the Rams have not had much luck thanks to a secondary that includes Jaymest Williams and Deangelo Gibbs. The problem for Hoover is that they are a better passing team than a running team. The Bucs defense has been stout as well as they have not given up more than 8 points since the loss to Allen. Grayson did have offensive struggles early in the season but seem to have corrected them lately. It should be a close game in the first half but Grayson should pull away in the second.

St. Edward vs St. Ignatius
This years Holy War is a meeting of two one loss teams. The crowds are expected to be so big this years annual end of season game was moved to FirstEnergy stadium, that’s the home of the Browns since nobody outside of Cleveland probably knows that. Last years meeting was a lot closer than people expected with St. Edward winning 35-28. St. Edward was clearly the better team last year as they took home the Ohio Division I state title. The Eagles only have one loss this year is a little different. While both teams are good, St. Ignatius is the favorite coming into the game. The Wildcats only loss was a road game against Catholic Central who is one of the best teams in Michigan. Out side of the loss the closest game they have played has been 17 point wins. St. Ignatius should be able to control both sides on the LOS and wanting revenge for last years loss should propel them to victory.
St. Ignatius 27 – St. Edward 14

Paramus Catholic at St. Joseph Regional
The two best teams in New Jersey will battle it out on Saturday. SJR has dominated this series lately winning the last 3 matchups. The Green Knights have played a tougher national schedule this year with a win over Serra (CA) and a loss to #17 St. John’s (DC), but Paramus does have a good win of their own over St. Frances Academy (MD). Both teams are coming off good win. Paramus took down Don Bosco Prep in which they ran for 342 yards. SJR beat St. Peter’s Prep with a good game on the ground as well. Paramus holds the talent advantage in the game but the game is in Montvale. SJR showed they could stop the run game last week. The game should be close to the end and we will go with the home team.
