The high school basketball season is in full effect and we have had a chance to see some of the best teams in the country. We are not big fans of preseason rankings so we like seeing teams play before putting out our rankings. We start the season off with Huntington Prep on top. They have the best player in the country (Andrew Wiggins) and look very good as a team in early season games. Oak Hill has already lost this season, at the hands of Paul VI, as has Travis although the loss was without Andrew Harrison so they stay in the rankings. There are bound to be a lot of changes in the rankings coming up with Holiday tournament season right around the corner. There are also two premier games on Thursday with #19 Archbishop Mitty vs #13 Travis and #4 Simeon vs a good Desoto (TX) team. Check back next week to see the shakeup.
