The preseason #1 has fallen and that means we have a new #1 team this week. We here are not a fan of preseason polls, but our fans demanded it so we gave it to you. That being said we definitely aren’t fans of preseason bias effecting the polls (we are looking at you college voters) so the new #1 is Don Bosco Prep even though we did not even have them ranked preseason. The Ironmen handed St. Thomas Aquinas their worst defeat in over a decade. That is enough for us to make them the new #1. Previous #3 Cedar Hill was also defeated by Skyline. The win puts the Raiders in the polls this week at #20. St. Thomas Aquinas and Cedar Hill both stay in the rankings this week as we still feel they are 2 of the best 25 teams in the country. Katy (TX) was the only other team to lose this week and that opened a spot for Carmel (IN) to make their debut. Desoto (TX) jumps into the Top 10 this week. We dropped this Eagles last week due to the injury to star QB Tristen Wallace but Jaylin Nelson stepped in and accounted for 7 touchdowns so we moved them back up this week.
