Unfortunately another year of high school football is in the books. The California and Texas state playoffs ended over the weekend to provide some final shakeups in the polls. As expected St. John Bosco and De La Salle played a classic California CIF Open title game with St. John Bosco coming out on top to solidify their Top 5 ranking. In Texas Allen destroyed Pearland to finish the year in the Top 3. previous #8 Katy lost the Texas 5A Division 2 Title to now #15 Cedar Hill. The big crown of the year goes to the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes who are the Prep Force National Champions. Coach Ice Harris showed that he was willing to play anyone anywhere which included trips to Georgia to defeat #23 Norcross and to Las Vegas to defeat #16 Bishop Gorman. The biggest win though came when they defeated #2 Miami Central in one of the biggest matchups in high school football history. Congrats to the Tornadoes on an all time great season. As you can see from the picture they even got their own victory parade through the streets of Miami.
