Dashon Hunt is a quick cornerback out of Westlake High School.  He played running back in high school too, and has a knack for finding holes as well as picking off passes and locking down receivers.  He recently gave a verbal commitment to Oregon State University, deciding against Nebraska and Boise State.  Hunt says he really likes Mike Riley and his coaching staff, as well as the location in Corvallis, Oregon.  He says the academics at Oregon State also helped lead him there.

After learning why Dashon decided on Oregon State, we went Beyond the Game with some questions about his outside interests.

Prep Force: Who is your celebrity crush?

Dashon Hunt: Beyonce.

PF: Who is your favorite professional athlete? 

DH: Victor Cruz.

PF: Who is your all time favorite Oregon State player?

DH: Probably Jacquizz Rodgers.

PF: What is your favorite pre-game pump up song?

DH: Never Would Have Made it by Marvin Sapp.

PF: What is your ideal post-game meal?

DH: Probably a burger.

PF: What is your favorite movie?

DH: Black Hawk Down.

PF: What do you like to do when your not playing football?

DH: I love going to the movies.

DH: Zach Green.

DH: The New York Giants.
