Frank Buncom IV is a top rated DB in the 2015 class from San Diego. He comes in at #150 in our 2015 player rankings. He is keeping coaches on the West Coast busy on the recruiting trail. We caught up with him to see where he is at in his recruiting process.
Q: What’s the recruiting process been like for you so far?
A: “At this point I haven’t been pressuring myself to make a decision.”
Q: What stands out to you about Stanford and Coach Shaw?
A: “The biggest thing is they genuinely have the best academics and athletics together. Their degree holds a lot of power.”
Q: What factors mean the most to you when picking a school?
A:”At this point I like schools that are academically prestiged.”
Q: Which schools would you say are coming after you the hardest right now?
A: “Right now there’s multiple schools. Nebraska is coming pretty hard and I’ve been talking to USC lately.”
Q: At which point would you like to cut your list down to just a few schools?
A: “I think later on this summer. I need to see more campuses before I can cut down my list.”
Q: Are there any schools that will for sure make that cut?
A: “I’d have to say Stanford and UCLA because of their academics and because I’ve visited those campuses multiple times.”
