Torrance Gibson is a 5-star athlete that is still uncommitted, but he continued to prove to people that he is among the best in the nation at Nike’s Opening camp last week. Prep Force caught up with him recently to see how the camp went.

Q: Can you just talk a little bit about your experience at the Opening?

A: “It was a great experience. I met a lot of talented quarterbacks and I learned a lot about leadership.”

Q: Can you just talk a little bit about how you were classified at a certain position up there?

A: “Yeah, first they had me with the quarterbacks. I was invited as an athlete, but they flew me up early with the quarterbacks.”

Q: Who was the best player you went up against at the camp?

A: “Everyone was great up there. Everyone was giving 110% and competing.”

Q: Big game for you guys this season with St. Thomas Aquinas. What will you guys need to do to come away with a win?

A: “We just need to execute. We have the talent. I think we will come away with the victory if we play like we’re capable of.”
