4-star athlete Demetris Robertson was committed to Alabama, but he has recently decided to open things back up.

“Me and my mom, we talked about it and she said I only get one chance. She really wanted me to look at all the schools”, Robertson said.

What does Alabama head coach Nick Saban think about his decision? “He just said we understand it, you know, and he’s still going to recruit me hard”.

The Savannah, Georgia native is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 overall athlete, and he has the offers to prove it. He holds 26 scholarship offers, a list that includes the likes of Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and many more.

He says that schools have came after him harder since he decided to decommit, and Georgia is one of those schools. “Georgia is one of my top schools”, says Robertson. Although the Dawgs are up there, he said that he doesn’t have a favorite right now.

So when can we expect a decision from the 4-star athlete? “Me and my mom will go over things. I really don’t have a timeline right now.”
