Game Of The Week
Oregon over USC – Oregon showed last week that they are in fact one of the best teams in the country. They still have an outside shot of playing for the National Championship so I don’t see them suffering a let down here. The weather is supposed to be real cold with possible snow. The USC guys will not like those conditions. I see Oregon with a big victory here.
Potential Upset Of The Week
Mississippi State over Arkansas – People are starting to include Arkansas in the National Title talk based on them beating LSU last week. This could set up to be a classic look ahead game. They are playing LSU on Friday so with just a slight slip in focus this could be a good one.
The Rest Of The 6 Pack
Michigan over Nebraska – Michigan hasn’t lost at home all year. Nebraska is coming off the emotional game last week with another tough game on the road. I expect Michigan and Denard Robinson to pull this one out
Ohio State over Penn State – As I stated last week I just dont think Penn St. is a good football team and it has nothing to do with the scandal. Ohio St. is coming off of getting upset by Purdue last week so I think they will be more focused. Ohio St. wins and officially puts an end to Penn State’s Rose Bowl bid.
Oklahoma over Baylor – Oklahoma is another one of the teams in the hunt for the National Championship game. I will even go on record and say if Oklahoma wins out they will in fact play in the BCS game. I do expect Baylor to keep it closer than most people think though as Baylor and Robert Griffin III can score with anyone in the country. I also think Baylor was looking ahead to this game which is why they almost slipped up to Kansas last week. I expect them to come out strong.
Kansas State over Texas – Kansas State won one of the most exciting games of the game last week while Texas lost one of the most boring games of the year. Collin Klein is the x factor he and I think he will score just enough for Kansas St. to pull off the upset on the road in Austin.
