High School Football Predictions

This weeks Top 10 games are stacked with state title games from Florida, California and North Carolina as well as semi final games from Texas. The big one comes to us from California where St. John Bosco will take on De La Salle. The Braves will be riding high off their big win two weeks ago over Mater Dei. Mater Dei was in a similar start against the Spartans and only won the title game by 7 which likely cost them a national title in a few of the polls. Bosco will be looking to not have that letdown this year.

Florida brings us 4 of the games this week. The FHSSA redistricted before this season and it looks like their rumored intended goal of getting more teams from Miami worked. Three teams from the previous toughest public school district (16-6A) all have a chance to win a state title this week. Booker T. Washington already got theirs and the experts agree that Miami Northwestern and Central will follow. Columb from Miami also has a chance to bring home a title as well. The experts are a little more split on that one. The consensus is that St. Thomas Aquinas will complete their undefeated season. If they do all eyes will then turn to whether the Raiders will play in the Geico games.

The games the experts are most split on are the games involving the lesser known teams. Pleasant Grove and Greenwood are battling it out to make the Texas 4A D2 title game. McClymonds is playing in their 4th consecutive title game and will travel down south to take on Pacifica. East Forsyth will be looking for back to back North Carolina 4A titles while Cardinal Gibbons will be looking for their 1st ever.
