Week 10 is here and regular season titles are on the line all over the country. There are two big games that will effect the national rankings. None bigger than the battle going down in Miami between Miami Central and Carol City. These two teams are arguably the best public school teams in the country this year. The experts are split evenly on the game. The other game with national implications is the WCAC battle going down between St. John’s and Dematha. The Cadets and Stags are the only undefeated teams left in conference play. The winner gets the regular season title and the top seed in the playoffs. All but one of the experts have the Cadets getting the win.

Elsewhere in the country the latest installment of the Holy War between St. Edward and St. Ignatius is happening in Cleveland. Both teams are evenly matched coming in at #6 and #7 in the latest Ohio state rankings. The Eagles will be looking for revenge from the close loss last year. The top two teams in Hawaii will be squaring off when Punahou and St. Louis meet. The Crusaders are the unanimous pick in that one amongst the experts. There are a couple of big games in Georgia. The top team in the state, Colquitt County, gets rival Tift County at home. The Packers will be looking for revenge for last year’s loss and also to keep their national ranking in tact. The experts unanimously think they will. Also in Georgia Hillgrove will look to remain undefeated and bring home the district title when Marietta comes to play. More experts are going with the four loss Blue Devils over the undefeated Hawks. Granted the schedule for both teams have been much different. The top two teams in the New Orleans Catholic League meet in Metairie when John Curtis travels to play Archbishop Rummel. The Raiders were the last Catholic league team to beat the Patriots back in 2015 and will be looking to do it again. Rounding out the schedule are St. Peter’s Prep and St. Joseph Regional meeting in New Jersey. If anyone out there can figure out what is going on in New Jersey this year let us know. Finally in Alabama Hewitt-Trussville and Thompson are meeting in a battle of Alabama QB commits.
